Journal Instructions

    Journal of Plant Protection (JPP), whose previous name was Acta Phytophylacica Sinica until 2014, is a comprehensive scientific periodical sponsored by China Society of Plant Protection and China Agricultural University, and directed by China Association for Science and Technology. It was founded in 1962. The journal published bimonthly since February 2007. The staff strictly follows the national policies and rules in news and publication, and pay high attention to the national and international standards in publication, as well as information exchanges. So far, the journal is a member of Scopus Database, the Chemical Abstracts (CA) in USA, Centre for Agriculture and Bioscience International (CABI) in GBR, AGRICOLA in USA, Review of Agricultural Entomology, Review of Plant Pathology, AGRIS International, ZA, BIOSIS, Japan Science and Technology Agency (Chinese Bibliographic Database) (JSTChina), Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD), Guide to Chinese Journals, Chinese Biological Abstracts, Chinese Science Abstracts (Chinese Edition) (CSAC), Chinese Journal Full-text Databases(CJFD), Wanfang Database, Chinese Academic Journal Comprehensive Evaluation Database and other related indexing journals.

    The key journal evaluation indexes have always remained at the domestic leading level and international advanced level among similar journals. For instance, our journal has received funding from the "Chinese Journal of Scientific and Technical Periodicals Excellent Action Plan". In 2020, it was selected into the T1 level of China's high-quality scientific and technical periodicals directory in the agricultural and forestry fields. And from 2018 to 2022, it was selected into the World Academic Journal Impact Factor Annual Report for five consecutive years. Moreover, in 2018—2019, it ranked in the Q1 zone of the scientific and technical periodicals in the plant protection field for two consecutive years. Our journal has also been awarded many titles such as "Chinese Agricultural Journal Leader", "Top 100 Digital Impact Periodicals", "Chinese Top 100 Scientific and Technical Periodicals", and "Chinese Agricultural Journal with the Most Dissemination Ability", which have gained widespread recognition from the industry and academic circles.
